I am interested in fostering professional learning communities among teachers so that they may foster similar learning communities for their students. In these communities, I teach teachers how to integrate participatory and situated practices into their curricular designs with the aim to impact both pedagogy and epistemic frames. Most of my current work takes place in online settings, but these techniques have been used in face-to-face and hybrid settings as well.
